Is anyone else having issues with Royal Mail Tracking numbers being added automaticaly to the sold items?

I only use Royal Mail first and second class post for my orders which is not a tracked service, however, tracking numbers are being added automaticaly by either eBay or Royal Mail.

This is causing issues because when customers search the tracking it just comes up with a message saying this item has not been sent using a tracked service, this results in many messages asking why I have uploaded false tracking details.

Can this be avoided?

If you buy your labels via eBay then they now carry a QR code with a delivery confirmation system.....so although they are not tracked you can confirm online delivery & thus save the risk of INR cases....this is a no fee service !!
