selling outside ebay warning message

I received a message from ebay today stating my account had been reviewed and 'they' had determined I had breached ebay policy regarding selling outside ebay. Being somewhat surprised and confused I contacted live chat. After several messages were exchanged I was told there was sufficient evidence to justify issuing the warning, when I asked the adviser to explain to me exactly what I had done wrong I was told he could not give me any further information due to 'privacy'. Is it just me or is this just a ridiculous situation?

eBay should tell you how you breached policy there's no real privacy issue.

Now that eBay have flagged up your account you need to be very careful.

One of your listings states -

"Please note this item will be supplied via email as PDF document."

that's a serious policy violation as you are not allowed to sell digitally delivered items - plus as you have 10 you are clearly a business seller and need to read up on registering.
