Sneaky Blinder

A member offered me £6 for something that was part of a lot I am selling on ebay.(222407472311) . We discussed it a bit and the member sent a picture of what he wanted which I then listed as a "Buy it Now" but in those minutes before he could click on it, some sneaky blinder snuck in & bought it & paid by paypal ! (unaware I think of exactly what he bought). What do I do ?

Thanks for your replies

023mjc and corred

The buyer agreed to cancel and I refunded him. The original member has now bought the lot.Which I listed as "Thing", torn & damp in books. Thanks for your advice.

Nothing you can do. When you list as Buy it Now, it's first come, first served. You have to sell it to the person who bought it.

For future reference, when I have done something similar, I have listed it with an obscure title that no one else would be searching for, then sent the buyer the item number. Still not foolproof but may help.
