You need to be extremely careful how you handle this as you could be seriously out of pocket if you try to handle this yourself.

Your buyer needs to open a case for not as described 'damaged in transit' and you respond and you cite that according to Global T&C you, the seller, are not responsible for any loss or damage in transit once it has arrived at the Global hub.

Global shipping programme - Return request - Arrived damaged

Why is it so difficult to resolve a return request when an item shipped through GSP arrives damaged and buyer confirms to include evidence with photographs. Sent from UK to USA. After waiting 5 days you have to contact EBAYS Customer Service. The operator viewed the case and confirmed that the refund process can be applied then said I had to contact ebay USA and after 2pm GMT. Tried again but a waiting time of 13 minutes so requested call back at 14.30GMT. It is now 19:45GMT and the office is closed.

The point of this is to say why cannot ebay have a process in place to deal with GSP Arrived Damaged situations that is part of the return request system and not involve CS. This would free up CS time and enable buyers and sellers to have a procedure in place to handle these situations. It can be a section that deals specifically with GSP and can be monitored by ebay. I hope someone from ebay reads this and can respond.
