Question Re: Bad malicious feedback in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

Calling you a scammer for making a mistake was perhaps a bit OTT, but the experience was a negative one for the buyer - hence the feedback.

However, your response to the feedback is not much better. Instead of calling him a liar and a horrible man, it would have been far better to put a truthful explanation, so future buyers could see what happened.

"Sent wrong item by mistake, Apologised and refunded", would have been far better, and would not have put other buyers off buying from you.

hi , When im sending parcels with hermes i usually write the address by hand first on the parcel then when i print the label i stick it on . so i dont get mixed up . . unfortunately i did get mixed up ! and stuck the alternating labels on two parcels ! two days later i get a refund request from one person. furious, saying "not the item described " not the item in the photos", 'not the ebay member he paid ' ! I couldnt understand at first until a received another email from the other person saying 'he thought i may have mixed up my postage cos he had someone elses parcel ,and did i want him to return it .

meanwhile ,i accepted the refund request from the previous buyer because he was starting to send emails that i found offensive . and even after i accepted the refund request he kept messaging 'where is my item '. I replied ,'since you have requested a refund the previous item is no longer yours . could you kindly return the item you have for a swift refund ' . It arrives , I refund his money . Then i receive negative feedback from him calling me a scammer ! ebay are not willing to do anything about it . it was willful and malicious .

On a lighter side note the other buyer bought both items ! lol

There is nothing you can do about it as it is the buyers view of the transaction

You did send a different item by mistake but some are very quick to distrust sellers.

Your reply could have been better as from the buyers point of view you did send 4 cards for the price

He was not lying and it would have been better to apologise in the reply and say you made a mistake rather than call him names.
