Items not arriving - Italy

Hi does anyone have problems with items not arriving when sent to Italy? I use Royal Mail International Standard postage and am considering either stopping selling to Italy or stating that items with an auction value of £25 or over the customer pays for tracking. What do you think?

Italy has been a problem for a long time.

But doesn't matter whether you send to UK or international, if you don't send tracked & buyer says not received, you have to refund.

Italy has long been considered to have a unreliable postal service, and some sellers will not send there. I have sent a few things, luckily without problem.

Whether you send tracked is your choice, it is for your benefit, not for the buyers who have the money back guarantee to fall back on if they don't receive the goods.
