Sellers fees email query

Hi. I've just received an email headed "Friendly Reminder: You have eBay fees that are due". Never had this before in almost 20 years as my sellers fees are paid automatically via the bank account I have registered with eBay which is correct and up-to-date. Why have I been sent this email ? Can I ignore it ? Will my sellers fees be paid automatically in due course ?

Is the Message Addressed to you by Name and in your Ebay Message Box? If you have used any Listing Upgrades such as Gallery Plus, a Reserve, a Sub title or Listed an Item as an Auction with a Buy It Now? Ebay will Bill you for the extra Payment.

Yes and yes. It is my normal sellers fees with no Listing Upgrades.

Check your Seller Account/Invoices from the Account Drop Down menu.

That is not the issue. The invoice is correct, the problem is they are requesting the amount rather than just "taking it automatically" as they have done for the last 20 years.

Under managed payments, ebay deduct fees from sales money before paying rest into your bank,

as you have sold collection items, I assume you got cash, so FVF has to paid separately or ebay will use the Direct debit to claim from your bank.

I don't know how often they do this, i.e. weekly, monthly or ad hoc.

Thanks for that. Yes I got cash but just expected the fees to be taken by DD rather than paying separately via an email request. Items I sold for cash a couple of months ago had the fees taken by DD with no email request.
