I have accepted an offer less the postage but the buyer says its come back with the postage added how do I amend this ?

Of course it did, postage is extra if you both read what it says.

If he wanted to spend say £10 and postage was £2, then he makes an offer of £8.

It does pay to read what it says on the offer.

Even so I think you can still send an amended invoice entering the postage as £0.00

Offers are always for item price with postage on top but you can send an amended invoice with the postage removed. On My eBay sold page click More Actions, far right of item > Send Payment Details.
