Hi,

I always post recored and attain photos whilst wrapping and pictures once sealed with tracking number and anti tamper tape, I've a feeling the buyer is trying to short shift me, I've contacted their sorting office and left a message in relation to the item and contacted the buyer asking her to contact her mail sorting office but she serms reluctant to step up to do this.

Does anyone have any ideas in going forward as feel that this is a rouse to get money from me

if the tracking is not showing delivery you have to take them at face value and refund their money.

What does the tracking say?

If it does not show delivery you will have to refund your buyer.

sk them to open a Not Received case and refund through the case, you will get your selling fees refunded.

You can claim from Royal Mail using yor proof of postage.

Hi,Thanks for the reply, just seems off having posted ten items on the same day but hers to go awry and cannot find a number for eBay to call me etc I’ve done the footwork and she seems not fussed in contacting her Mail office even though I’ve given her the number and address

Has the buyer actually opened a "not received case"? If not you need do nothing. Certainly do not correspond with him.

It's not up to your buyer to contact the sorting office; pointless in any event with the bulk of mail.

As long as "signed for" [as you should anyway for value of £20+] then if the tracking shows delivered you win the case. 1st and 2nd class parcels have a 16-digit number which will show "scanned at doorstep".

All the other precautions will not help with eBay. You claim from Royal mail and can get compensation EDIT though in some cases and I think coins is one they are excluded and you need to use Special Delivery

Appreciate the reply just seems weird all other items delivered just not this one? I've done the foot work whilst on duty on my break waiting for Leeds sorting office to ring me just in her replys her approach has changed from standoffish to "thank you for helping me track it" etc so just seems to stand out as weird I'll happily refund and recover but place her on the block list or non bidding ability as it just doesn't sit right thank you all for all your help

But to reiterate if your tracking does not show delivered why should she be lying.

If it does show delivery [which would include "misdelivery" to a different address] then you will win the case. At present - of course - mail is not being signed for and simply recorded on posties' machine at doorstep
