Negative feedback for unsold item?

Hi folks.I have been left a negative feedback for an item i removed from the listing due to dog damage,bidder left negative before it was sold.Is this right?One upset seller!!!!!!!

if they have been able to leave feedback they won the item

you ended the listing early choosing sell to the highest bidder,

you should have cancelled all the bids then ended the listing

you made a mistake and upset the 'buyer'

try apologising and ask them to revise the feedback

if they agree you can send a feedback revision request

i cancelled the item before the 12 hr cut off point,CS have removed the feedback

you were lucky, as you clearly chose the wrong reason when you cancelled
