Suspect buyer

I recently cancelled an order when the buyer failed to pay. Should I report the buyer as posibly being suspicious as they have been a member since 2019 but has zero feedback?

If you did the cancellation under the new ebay non payment cancellation then the non payer gets a strike on their account

Put them on your blocked bidders list under Buyer requirements

Also set them to block bidders with non payment strikes

Too many and they will not be able to buy off many sellers

You cant report as suspicious

Thanks for the advice. Pity that i can't report as suspect as two years membership and zero feedback does seem odd.

If the buyer does not pay and if the seller uses the correct method the buyer gets a non-payment defect. If he gets another most sensible sellers will set their preferences so as not to sell to him.

This is far far more effective than any "report".

It "might" be that his account was hacked after no use
