how come when I buy something my payment is taken straight away yet my buyer has not paid yet.. how does this happen

Sellers are being moved to MP, payment is not instant like paypal,

buyer pays ebay who then pay into seller's bank after a few days.

Seller should still post item when ebay tell them buyer has paid.

Buyers can open item not received case 1 day after estimated delivery date.

I was asking how my buyer has not yet paid... I thought these payments were instant. when I buy something my payment is taken right away. I dont understand how I have to wait for the buyer to pay... payment is not on hold they just havent paid

buyers only have to pay instantly if the seller has ticked the immediate payment required box when creating the listing, the fact your buyer hasn't paid yet means you didn't tick the box! if they don't pay you can cancel the sale after 4 days choosing buyer didn't pay as the reason.
