Shill bidding on my listing

Hi there,

I have a listing that ends in 8 hours. The highest bid last night was £62, but it has now dropped to £40. This is because 2 bidders retracted 4 bids, each at the same time as each other. The current winning bidder is one of the two retracters. This seems far too coincidental to not be shill bidding. The highest bidder now has the item for a £20 less than they originally agreed to with their previous bid. Can anyone help with this? Should I wait until the listing is over to report this? Many thanks

What you have is not shill bidding [artificially increase its price] but looks like bid shielding [artificially lowering its price].

The retractors have a history of retractions and the current top bid has 45 retractions on their account but is not [yet] on the listings retractors.

Once the listing ends you are obliged to sell – you could try to contact eBay and ask them to look at the bidding on the listing.
