eBay charged me for the return label for the product that I returned to the seller. Where can I report a problem? Thanks

If you opened the wrong dispute then you pay the postage

If it was not as described and that is the case you opened then the seller should have paid

( unless they were overseas and then you may have had to pay it)

If it was a change of mind return then you pay the postage

The product does not fit is a change of mind. Why did it not fit. Was it the size that was on the label and it did not fit or was the dress a different size to what is said on the listing. If it says say a size 12 and it was a size 10 on the label then that is not as described. Too late now if you have already opened the dispute as if you close the dispute you would not be able to open another one

But it wasn't clothes. I ordered a tablet case. I chose the model I have from the list, but unfortunately the case I got did not fit.

You really did not give much to go on. If the item said it fitted your tablet and it does not then it is not as described and that is the dispute you open. If you opened the correct dispute then you should have received a label but if the seller is overseas then you may have to pay the postage.

That was just an example of the difference of a not as described or a change of mind. Where did the item come from. If it was the UK then and you opened a not as described dispute then you should have received a pre paid label. If you dont you escalate to ebay. If you have already paid for a label then is it too late as something is wrong there. The seller is from the UK and informed me that eBay will charge him for the return. It is possible that I made a mistake, but choosing the reason for the return, it seems correct that it does not fit.

I also sent a picture of the faulty case so why was it considered by eBay to be something in the clothes? The sale listing was for a tablet case.

I never had a problem if I had to return something. The return procedure may be better now, but if I had to choose that the product does not match the description, I would probably choose it. Please check my return request.

Have you actually read the replies. Ebay will not think it clothing if you opened the dispute for the tablet. If you opened the correct dispute and the seller is in the Uk then you should have received a pre paid label for the return. Go to the resolution centre and see what dispute you opened. We can not check for you. We are not ebay we are just members like yourself. You keep saying " the return" a return request is for an item the is a change of mind. The dispute for an item that is not is described is My item is not as described. Read my first reply where it tells you how to contact ebay.
