Trouble messaging a buyer I bought from....

Hi everyone, I bought some magazines just before lockdown got stricter and explained the the seller that I'd be back in touch when it was more "legal" to make arrangements to collect etc. I messaged him on 22nd June but have had no reply and when I tried messaging him again today I got a warning come up saying I'd reached my maximum re messages.... For goodness sake, I haven't messaged this person for 3 weeks and rarely send any messages anyhow... So WHY am I getting this message?

Do please be more exact when asking questions. Everything on eBay revolves around precise timescales.

We can deduce that you bought these well over 30 days ago, the timescale for eBay's money back guarantee. if so, eBay will have no further interest.

It isn't even clear whether you have paid for them, but it's too late for any refund through eBay and Paypal doesn't cover items sold for collection.

It's between you and your seller now. If you've reached your limit on messages you may be able to get their phone number here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ebayadvsearch?_sofindtype=9. I'm not sure how long this link is available after the transaction date, it may already be too late to use it.

This is the first time I've used this method to seek help, so excuse me if I wasn't as detailed as I could have been. That said, you have shared what i needed to know thanks.
