Cancellation is always declined

Has anyone noticed that when an order is placed, evan if you try to cancell it within seconds,the cancellation request is always declined as the order has already been dispatched.

I find it hard to believe goods are dispatched within seconds of the order being placed.

Twice recently this has happened to me, and I am now NOT ever gong to use EBAY again,as a buyer I do not seem to have any control anymore.

It's possibly something to do with an automated process at the seller's end, but regardless, why are you ordering and then cancelling? Just take more care if you continue to buy.

I have been on eBay for years and have bought many many items without any problem. In that time I have had only one item fail to turn up on time [under posted] and have never cancelled a purchase. Why would I; I want every item delivered to my door

Why are you wanting to cancel just after you won.

if you dont want item, dont bid.

Sorry should have added, I got the impression that I was buying from the U.K only to find in the conformation e.mail that delivery is going to take weeks.That it why I wanted to cancel.
