Blooming Unfair!

Opened an Ebay email tonight to find a seller has stated that I've not paid for an item so cancelled the sale despite me collecting it several days ago and paying cash on collection! Yes I know why they've done it but seems there's no way to challenge it at Ebay and I've got a warning about if it happens to many times etc. Well frankly sellers often cancel the sales after they get cash on collection but it's usually a cancellation rather than buyer didn't pay ie my fault. Any suggestions on how I stop getting any more of these as I don't want my account penalised as I'm a regular buyer? Thanks

you need to contact eBay and exp[lain that you paid cash because this means, under managed payments, you have a unpaid strike on your account.

I tried but I couldn’t find a way to actually contact them. Their bot was off line and every other avenue just lead to a question and answer. So frustrating as that’s why I’m worried. Thanks for the reply
