How can a buyer open a case after 4 MONTHS ??

Obviously I dont have the proof of postage after 4 months . How can this happen ?

Is this an Ebay case or a Paypal case?

On Ebay a buyer can open a case up to 30 days from the date of delivery or last estimated date for delivery. After 4 months IF its an Ebay case then they should not be able to escalate the case for Ebay to step in so that case should go nowhere. I am very suprised if Ebay have allowed them to open a case after 4 months.

Saying the above i presume its a Paypal case? Buyers have 180 days to open a Paypal case if that is how they paid. As for keeping postal receipts.....these should be kept for about 13 months as buyers can do a chargeback up to 12 months after purchase.

adding to the advice already given -

They can open an eBay case for communication but won't be able to escalate it to a claim.
