hello all I am trying to place an advert to sell a van but loks like doing something wrong system will not let me place an ad , not placed one before so not sure what am doing wrong

You can't sell vehicles under MP.

Best to use classified ad anyway,

1 listing fee, no other fees, not sold until buyer pays you, usually cash, NO PAYPAL.

Use Classified Ads. = £19.99 for 28 days with No FVF selling fees ... Contact details are allowed to view the vehicle and negotiate an acceptable price ... only remove the listing when you have the Car Payment in hand on inspection/collection >

Cash on inspection/collection is the safest and best payment method for vehicles ...(or mutually agreed cleared and confirmed Bank Transfer before releasing the Vehicle and documents to a buyer) ... No PayPal ... there is absolutely No payment protection offered for Vehicles no matter how they are paid for.
