Didn't scan the collection barcode

Hi! So, I've sold an item as local collection only. The buyers collected the item today. I didn't realise I needed to scan some barcode to confirm the pick up. The buyers aren't local... What do I do now? Will this affect me getting paid?

It is not mandatory to use that code. Indeed not all sellers use an app which is needed here.

You cannot mark items paid and dispatched on the Classic view anymore, you need to do this from the Seller Hub.

Go to All Orders >> Awaiting Payment

Click on the square next to the item.

Use the 'More' drop down at the top of the page.

Mark as Payment Received.

Mark as Dispatched.

Cash is always best for a collection item after it has been purchased. if your buyer here, has paid with Paypal and Paypal have that initial hold on your monies from sales, as they do with all new and returning selelrs for 21 days, as there is not obvious tracking numbers to enter, only good feedback showing that the item was received, may release your money sooner.
