Item sold, but not showing in payments

Hi All,

I sold an item 8 days ago and the buyer purchased and paid straight away.

But the transaction isn't showing on the new eBay payment system. Any ideas?

I don't think you are under eBay's new Managed Payments yet?

Have you given eBay your bank details?

eBay then first take their fees from money received from a sale, and send the remainder to your nominated bank account. This takes 1 - 2 business working days.

Your bank then takes 1 - 4 business working days to process those funds, before they become available for you to withdraw.

If you haven't given your bank details to eBay recently, payments from sales will be going into your Paypal account.

PayPal have a blanket policy to hold monies from sales, from all new sellers , and those returning after a short break, for 21 days.

They do not have any history from a new seller, and many dormant accounts are hijacked so they wish to see that it is the genuine returning seller coming back to selling on that account .

They need to see that items paid for will be posted out promptly, if they are not they have the money to refund the buyer.

Tracking showing delivery or good feedback received will release the money sooner within 7 days after your item's last estimated date for delivery. If not, then call Paypal, they are very helpful up there in Paypal Towers.
