Ok here is my problem - I live in Portugal I had been listing on the ebay.co.uk site...no problem with that apart from the postage amounts....now when I try to list on ebay.co.uk ebay arent taking into consideration the customs and excise fees or the actual costs of sending an item to the UK tracked which is the service I have always used. To send a parcel to the UK tracked can cost between 11 euros and 15 euros depending on the size and weight now with customs and excise costs that I have to pay in advance here in Portugal the costs are even more significant. If you take off ebays fees for postage I am literally out of pocket and I dont know what to do. I have tried to go onto the ebay.com site but then you get into sending items by USPS which of course I dont want to do because I dont live in the USA and you also get into the weight, length, width issues. I went onto the ebay.spain site but i dont speak Spanish which of course everyone that lives in Spain speaks Spanish...nott, then I thought what about ebay. germany but of course I dont speak German...I have tried today to list 1 dress at least 20 times and each time there is an issue with the postage amount. Now if i could use the global shipping program I wouldnt have this issue because Ebay are allowed to charge me 15 quid to get an item shipped down here but when I want to put in the exact amount to ship an item to the UK its not allowed its too much because ebay in its wisdom have a cap on the amount you can charge even if that cap means that I am out of pocket! I have tried every which way to change the postage, send by courier still a cap, send by express still a cap...honestly I really am losing the will to live...does this mean that I will never be able to send items to the UK or any other country because thats what it looks like to me...does this really mean the end of me and ebay? Please someone give me an idea that might work or just tell me the truth which ebay doesnt seem to be able to do and send me on my way!!!

I think you would be better putting your problem on the seller thread under Discussion Seller Central at the top of the page.

I think you should be selling on your own site or Ebay.com with postage to the UK.

Like I said in my post I cant sell on the ebay.com site because they assume that you are in the USA and all postage methods are for the USA. I cant sell on ebay portugal because there isnt an ebay portugal so where does that leave me? I came here because it says at the top of the page Help from Community Experts?
