Thank you, I thought as much but good to have confirmed. Looks like I will need to relist as I suspect the postage is going to be more than the item if there is customs duty in Bulgaria.

Hi

A buyer in Bulgaria has use Buy It Now on an item I was selling but I don't think I said it was available for sale outside of the UK (original listing only show UK postage options as far as I can see). Is it possible to send this item using the GSP after purchase? The buyer is asking me for the postage cost to Bulgaria after purchase as I don't think they have used eBay before. Any advice on how should this best be handled would be appreciated.

Thank you

The latest couple of your sold items that I looked at were for UK only so your buyer will not be able to pay unless you send an amended invoice.

You cannot add GSP after a sale, so you would either have to cancel the sale and re-advertise it, after opting into GSP. Or you couldadd your own overseas postage by checking royal mail's prices.

Don't forget there will also be customs duty to pay now, on items exported to the EU.

You can of course cancel the sale with 'Problem with buyer's address' which is true, as they are overseas and you don't post overseas, and relist after blocking the buyer.

Probably a wise move. I sent something to Sweden recently and it cost me an arm and a leg to send, especially as it was only a cheap item, and I ended up refunding as it never arrived!
