Hello I'm stuck on how to get this resolved? I have had a item delivered to my the packing was water damaged and a shoddy repair done I'm guessing at the post office but the t-shirt was missing I've contacted the seller who is willing to help but is saying it could take up to 3 months via Royal Mail claims department. I have not opened a case up yet it keeps saying "item delivered "the seller has now gone quiet on me ? What do I do ?

What you do is open a NOT AS DESCRIBED case under Ebays Money back Guarantee. Do NOT open a not received case because the seller can prove you have received something...even if the package was damaged and empty and they would win that type of case.

Escalate the case after a few days for Ebay to step in.

It is not up to you to wait for the seller to make a claim from Royal Mail. They refund you and then try and make a claim for compensation......that is not your problem its the sellers.

The seller could just choose to refund you OR as silly as it sounds you may well have to return the packaging at the sellers expense.
