China /UK miss information

Hi all This the second time I have had trouble with Item In a listing that has said Item location London and in description UK, Totaly untrue, given a so called tracking number but I think it is only a postage intent number from Royal Mail. Can anything be done to stop these misleading listings, Item is coming from China I am sure

it is a problem.

Some do have a wharehouse or addresses in the uk but as you say some are misleading buyers

Ebay have a policy about this see the link

If they say Uk on the listing and it comes from China then it will take longer

If it gets past the latest estimated day of delivery then open a dispute after 1 days

Escalate after another 3 full days to get your money back

If the item then arrives ask the seller to send a pre paid label for the return of the item (the UK)
