Have also read Announcements...cannot recall reading about being unable to reply to a message or indeed respond to an offer from Messages. Answer certainly not a solution, nor indeed very helpful. Expected more useful information, but never mind, the more I read from so called 'experts' the less confidence I gather. More sensible solution to this problem awaited.
