New Selling Pages 'if it 'aint broke dont fix it'

There is an old saying in engineering

'if it 'aint broke dont fix it' . . . . . . clearly ebay have never heard of this saying.

Before the changes . . . . . if I wanted to relist an unsold item I would go to one home page look at my listing and sales and see an item was unsold and relist it with new timing details etc

After the changes . . . . . . No one page for all catagories, no information forv a seller if an item has become unsold - wouldent it be nice to at least have a few numbers by the left hand tabs.

No quick lookup to see what a selling or sold item is doing to relist another similar item with revised information, one more new page to open to cross check

No quick way to check on scheduled item timings when relisting an item, another new page to leave open to cross check.

Far to much prominace given to 'Advised Item Specifics' , note the word advised, this means that they are not manditory and so of no importance to a seller. A seller should know what they are selling and how to promote it or have some guidance at teh selling stage, only. There is no option to remove these distracting warnings that detract from the importance of real warnings. A seller should be able to click these not that they have seen it and have the warning removed.

I have been using this new system for two weeks and my thoughts are that this new system is far worse than initially thought it was. I am rapidly removing items from the new selling site to older uncontaminated ebay sites. I guess this one will eventaully close as it truly is unuseable for serious sellers.

Referring to the ebay dictat is not helpful, reproduced below so others may see it

You’ll soon find an overview of all your active, sold and unsold listings, as well as your drafts, on the new All Selling page in Seller Hub. This new page will have all the services you know from My eBay, so you can continue to manage a large number of listings. You’ll also find additional features such as downloadable reports.

Sellers will gradually move to the new experience in the coming weeks. If you already use All Selling in My eBay, we’ll notify you in My eBay as soon as your account is ready to use the new All Selling page in Seller Hub. You don’t have to take any action for this change and your listings will not be affected.

It nicely summerised the issues I raise. its not much help to have nice shiny after listing facilities if it is a pain to list and sell in the first place Of note
