Current coupon/voucher not being accepted at checkout

I wondered if anyone else is having issues with a current 15% off eBay voucher promotion, running April 6-10 2021 on eBay UK (I was emailed by eBay UK when it became available, it's definitely official and is flagged up at the top of every eBay page for me)? When I start to checkout an applicable item (above threshold price, from a participating seller, fulfilling all and every condition) it is rejected when I enter the code. It's right in the middle of the applicable period for the voucher and has never, ever happened before. Frustrating (eBay are looking into it for me, but I wondered if it was affecting other people too).

That figures, knowing my luck! eBay has checked my account and there's nothing amiss with it though... I've tried different browsers, all sorts. Mystifying.

I've answered this myself - I tried out some different items in the shopping basket from different sellers listed as participating, and some worked, some didn't - it was consistent for each seller as to whether their items took the discount code or not.

I contacted one of the sellers whose shop items were not accepting the code, despite being listed (and confirmed to me by an eBay representative) as participating - in fact, they're not participating! They often do participate in these promotions but had chosen not to do so for this one. It seems that for the current POCKET15 promotion, eBay's list of participating sellers includes several who are not in fact participating - I guess eBay just assumed they'd all participate as usual.
