I ve beeen asked to post a item to ARAMEX Slough ...on checking this address ..they are scammers

What do I do ...I ve told the buyer I dont want to deal with them and can they find a alternative ...or I am happy to refund them...I dont want negative feedback ....I want to cancel the sale ....as I feel nervous I ll lose a lot of money as item is £250.

They appear to be a freight forwarding service. Why do you think you are being "scammed" ?

Go to More Actions, right of the item on your sold list > Cancel order > Something wrong with buyer's address. The refund will be issued automatically.

I'm not sure what your issue is, as long as you post tracked to buyers paypal address & it shows as delivered, then where it is posted after that doesn't concern you.

If buyers claims a problem, say item damaged, then you only have to supply returns label from UK address, not from another country.

Aramex in Slough is an International forwarding Company. Check the address you have again in Google.

Check the country of registration of your buyer. Click on their feedback number, they will be registered outside the UK. So the only way they can buy from a UK buyer not selling worldwide, is for them to send to a forwarding Compnay.

It is the safest way to sell.

You post to the address shown in the Paypal transaction for the item, yours is expensive so obviously you take out enough insurance to cover the item. Your responsibility ends when it reaches that forwarding centre.

If it then gets lost getting to Thailand / Russia / Timbucktoo, wherever, it's not your problem.

Did you also realise that you are signed up to the Ebay Global Shipping Programme?

You really need to Post by Special Delivery for anything Sold for Over £50.00 to be fully covered against Loss or Damage in Transit.

I did research ...as Ebay red lettered the byers shipping address ...and read the following :Watch out for scammers abusing this company! Aramex are a logistics company that are unfortunately occasionally used by scammers to forward fraudulently acquired goods. If you are victim of attempted fraud, please let Aramex know and they will close the scammer’s account used to forward items abroad. A common scam is for the fraudster to send a PayPal phishing email confirming a payment into your PayPal account, usually for an item you are selling on an online marketplace such as eBay. Always check your PayPal account by logging-in to see if the money has truly been transferred. The scammers are often willing to pay for immediate delivery to minimise the time you may have to notice the funds are not actually in your PayPal account and alert Aramex to halt the package before it is forwarded. I notified Aramex of an account that was using their services for scamming which they advised they would close asap. Call Aramex’s line 01753 210399 if you have similar experiences.

As long as you follow ebay policy, i.e. log into paypal to check payment & address you are OK.

You must Post to the Address which PayPal sent you in the Confirmation Email. Don't send anywhere else you would lose your Seller Protection.

Thank you for yor help ...he has now given me 2 more addresses one a business centre and the other a USA address ...I ve just told him it has to be the address re paypal ..
