How do I mark an item as collected?

I have just sold an item which was collection only. The buyer picked it up yesterday. On my sellers page it says arrange collection and is asking for a 6 digit code to mark the item as collected. I cannot find this code anywhere. Anyone had luck with this? I tried the EBay chat help and was given a link to copy and paste to give me this option but I don't know where I'm supposed to paste it. There's got to be an easier way surely? I'm not very technical and I might just have to leave it showing 'Arrange collection' even though it already has been collected.

Buyer gets sent the code BUT only if they are using the Ebay App. You just mark as paid if they paid in cash, and mark as dispatched.

If you could find the code it would defeat the object as you could mark the code saying it has been collected then when buyer came to collect you could tell them to goaway you have already marked it as collected.

They paid with PayPal so I don’t have this option.

you can bypass the need for a code by using the full site, not the app

use the drop down menu next to the item and mark it as paid and dispatched
