Question Re: Reporting a Buyer in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

You could use this reporting link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/report-issue-buyer?id=4084&st=12&pos=1&query=Report%20an%20issue%20with%20a%20buyer&intent=report%20issue%20with%20buyer

There may be other and better ways to report them, but it's impossible to say if you don't explain what it is that you want to report.

As a guide, eBay is likely to take reports more seriously if they broke eBay's rules in some way, for example by suggesting a private sale to evade eBay's fees, than if they simply cheated a seller by abusing eBay's money back guarantee.

The EBay page for reporting a buyer only has 4 options, none of which are applicable in my case. I have already spoken with EBay and was advised to firstly make a Report and they will then investigate. How can I make my Report if the Default options are unsuitable.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thank you. I cannot accuse a Buyer but I am suspicious and believe there has been an abuse of Money Back Guarantee. The Buyer opened a request for item not received, and after 3 days I refunded in full via PayPal. After doing so I examined the Buyers own site and identified the exact item as I had supplied in Auction at a greatly inflated start price. Of course this might be coincidence, the buyer may already have had similar item in their possession. However today I check my own Feedback Page only to discover positive feedback from the Buyer in relation to the item subject of the original transaction. Buyer states 'Nice quick deal, thanks'. I decided to speak with EBay and it was suggested that I do not approach the buyer but make a Report to EBay.
