Hi there, I have a buyer from USA who had asked if I would be willing to post to USA. The item is an antique stoneware Jar. I also have some antique bottles. When I checked the Royal Mail USA prohibited list to USA it shows Ceramics/Glass and Glassware are Prohibited. The buyer is telling me that they buy these items from UK sellers regularly with no issues with posting. Am I miss reading the restrictions or are other sellers disregarding them?

What is the date of that Royal Mail information you have read? If current, then it is correct you cannot send those items to the US.

If in doubt you can ask at your local Post Office.

Restrictions on items do change regularly, your seller may have purchased items before a policy has been changed.
