How to block and report an account

Recently, i had an item listed, but withdrew it due to it receiving irreparable damage. Since then, i've been getting constantly messaged by the ebay user who had bid on the item at the time of cancelling the listing. I've already explained to them why it was cancelled, but still they keep demanding i sell the item to them. When i decline (the item is, after all, badly damaged), they have become very abusive and threatening.

any ideas how, and where, i can block this individual from contacting me, and even if I can escalate the 'report buyer' higher up - i tried that already, but got nowhere.

Put them on your blocked bidders list and then go back and scroll down to Stop blocked bidders from contacting me.
