Fraudulent listings

I think I can see a seller posting masses of items for sale, boats, cars, motorbikes, caravans, quad bikes. Floods each category on mass with a single photo and a second picture with text saying to make contact with the buyer via an email outside of eBay.

I have reported 30 of these at least on 3 occasions including today.

The listings disappear but I am losing confidence on eBay because of this.

What is actually going on here?...

It's a scam using fake accounts that eBay are aware of , and doing their best to deal with it , but it is an uphill battle, as when one account is removed , another returns to take its place.

You are doing what eBay are reliant on , that is, that members are helping report these listings too, with 1.3 billion listings on at any one time, eBay cannot police the site all by themselves.

I want to help, I see these seconds after they appear within the categories I am watching. Is it best to report the individual items or report the seller name?

Just go half way down the lsiting right hand side you will see report item, use that to report the listing, item and seller will then be reported to eBay.
