I suspect account has been hacked, this is what scammers do.

All you can do is report listings, ebay will remove them, but they find another account to hack, or usually account holders give away their passwords.

Hi.
Is it possible to report a user, rather than one of their (hundreds of) items, as a scammer?

There's one on at the moment

All the classic scam signs;

1. Loads of different sorts of vehicles.

2. Too-good-to-be-true prices.

3. Contact via email outside of ebay only.

4. Low feedback score.

5. No two vehicles photographed in the same place.

6. Only one or two photos of each item.

7. Ridiculous number of high-value items for sale, in this case, over 1300, and all/mostly with the same end dates!

I'll report a few, but just don't have time to sit and go through hundreds.

Why can't ebay sort this out, don't they monitor blatantly obvious scammers like this?

Thanks.

John

Thanks for the reply Tobias.
Did you look at the user's items?

I'm pretty sure this user has simply made an account, and posted those 1300+ items by simply using images 'lifted'' from the internet.
That's why they're all in different locations.
Also why each item only has one or two photos, *and* has the exact same description of ~

** "Quick sale, hence the low price (see photos for quick sale contact info/price)
More photos available on request
Great looking order
See pictures for info

Many thanks for looking."**

Those, and the list I gave before, are the obvious hallmarks of a typical ebay scammer.

I've seen literally hundreds of them, nearly been caught by one as well.
Sometimes scammers open new ebay accounts, they are well versed in doing this, ebay can't keep up.

Yes, that's the problem of course.
Shame there isn't an automatic system to flag them up when they do this.
