if you are on the ebay managed payments and dont give your bank details then ebay can not put the money in your account.

That is how it works.

They take their fees and then put the rest in your bank

We will all have to be on Managed payments to be allowed to sell on ebay

That is what happens when you don't provide Bank Details.

Without them you might just as well give up selling on Ebay. The system is that all payments go to Managed Payments and you select whether you want them to go to Bank Daily or weekly. No Bank No Payments.

Thanks guys for your replies. I haven't listed anything for months in order to avoid post offices etc. When I listed this item, eBay wanted me to “Update my details”. I stopped when they wanted my bank details. It then seemed that the change WAS coming, but not until 2023 (or late 2021, in another clause), so there was a stay of execution.
So I am aware that “We will all have to be on Managed payments”, but I shouldn't have been allowed to sell anything if I had transgressed their new rules!
And another thing:- They erase selling drafts after a short time. They erase messages after a short time.

Ebay rolled it out to businesses first and is now rolling it out to private sellers.
There is nothing you can do to stop it.
If you want your money then you would have to give your bank details

Removing drafts has always been that way they go after 60 days

I still maintain that I shouldn't have been allowed to sell anything if I had transgressed their new rules!
And I used Turbo Lister from 2008 (a separate eBay program), and was able to use the same drafts for EVER!

Whatever you say we are jut telling you how it is.
It is ebay's site ebay's rules and if you have a problem with that then you will have to take it up with ebay.
I know what Turbo Lister was as I also used to use it but things change. Not always for the better but again that is up to ebay.
