You just use the money back Guarantee if an item does not arrive in good condition.

Even if we were aware of a seller not using Drop Shipping we would not be allowed to recommend them.

I suggest you enter Drop Shipping in Help & Contact to see what it is all about and what is allowed.

Hi all
I’ve recently purchased, and had to send back several lots of roses. They have all arrived squashed into tiny packets and damaged beyond use.
I asked another seller if the send in a reasonable state and this was the response...
‘Flowers will be deformed on arrival, use a hairdryer to reshape them’
I’m disgusted that I’m supposed to spend hours repairing each of the 100 roses before use !!
Will EBay step in and tell this seller and others they must send items in packages that do not damage them??
These appear to be all ‘drop shippers’ whose goods are dispatched from warehouses that have no care for our purchases and NOT private sellers or responsible businesses that ship their own goods.
Problem is you can’t tell this when you buy. They should state that use warehouses to dispatch goods so we can avoid if we wish.
Can anyone recommend any sellers of foam roses that are not drop shippers to me please?
Thank you

You need to find all this out before you buy, and only buy from sellers with a good record of customer service. Look at their feedback.

I'd be surprised if you can find any private sellers selling foam roses in large quantities because they would probably be classed as a business if so.

If you have Opened a Case for Items Not As Described/Damaged EBay will Step in if the Seller doesn't accept the Return and Force the Refund. No they won't Message the Seller. The Returns Cases are pretty much Automated.

You can Report the Seller to Ebay if they are Drop Shipping and passing on your Name and Address to a Third Party. Is against the Government Data Protection Regs.

The only way you can avoid this type of Seller is to Check their Feedback before Buying from them. UK Business Sellers are the No 1 choice as they accept Change of Mind Returns for any reason within 30 days.
