This post is intended to draw attention to a hijacked account, as it's not possible to report over 1500 listings individually. The first dozen or so listings appear to be legit, then there are over 1600 vehicles listed with contact details in a photo. This happens every week at about this time (with a different account, obviously).

I'm winning around 200 of their auctions at the moment, been outbid on a couple of hundred. Getting bored now, can someone from eBay jump in and get rid of the other thousand or so before some naive individual loses their shirt?

Aaaannnd another hijacked account. This one looks to be the same scammers and has gone undetected for a while, some completed items that had bids on. Hope no-one has fallen for it. Still another 1100-odd scam listings currently live https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ks3004y7942/m.html?item=154309936099&ul_noapp=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

Ebay eventually take them down, but return the next day on another hacked account.

Ebay is not a safe place to even consider buying a vehicle but while there are gullible buyers will to give money away then the scammers will continue.

It is not as though the scammers are difficult to identify. Any seller breaking the rules on Contact Information will also be willing to take your money in exchange for nothing.

Yes, that's exactly what has happened - I posted this yesterday about a hacked account with 1500+ bogus listings, and it was eventually acted upon. Today I received my daily email from a search I have saved (VW Westfalia camper vans) and again the email contained nearly all scam listings - another hacked account, clearly the work of the same scammers and over 1100 bogus listings. These are currently still live, hope someone spots them soon and gets rid of them.

Another hijacked account I have found today - lots of vehicles with bids, hope they are taken down sharpish...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/hnperformanceltd/m.html?item=402681307271&ul_noapp=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

Interestingly the scammers have responded to the auction wrecking that was scuppering their chances of netting some victims by limiting bids on their items. If you have bid on one you can't bid on any others, as I just found out when I tried to bid.
