Item not working after 7 months

On 5th May 2020 I purchased a Silver Crest steam mop via ebay seller. It stopped working on 15th Dec 2020. I contacted Silver Crest who had stated a 3 year warrenty in the instruction booklet which came with the item. They said the warrenty did not apply as the item was bought on eBay. I emailed the supplier on 15th Dec, and also on 5th January 2021, but have had no reply. I cannot get anywhere on eBay with contacting them about this - the help pages are a nightmare joke and designed to make you give up.

Ebay did not sell you anything, any warranty is between you and the seller.

In addition to your legal rights (which you will find much more difficult to enforce) ebay provide a 30 day Money back Guarantee from arrival. They do not get involved with Warranties.

If you want a warranty that is worth anything, buy froma local shop or a wel lknown Company tha
