Hi everyone.

I bought an item on ebay and went through checkout, paid with Paypal etc.

But Ebay removed the item and cancelled the sale.

It seems the "sellers" account was hacked and I don't know how to get my money back. Ebay help tells me to request the sale is cancelled, but they have already cancelled it. The "seller" is quite innocent here too. So I can't start shouting the odds at her.

How do I go about this?

Ebay are making this very difficult.

When this happens you have to open a case with Paypal rather than eBay. Here's a direct link:

Escalate it after 2 days and before 20 days.
