Really? Presumably if you are reporting eBay to Trading Standards you do the normal route which is via citizens advice bureau first.

Oh please tell us what illegal act eBay has committed. These things are often misunderstood on the phone!

Paypal is not staffed by lawyers and is not best placed to advise you.

If you want to deal with trading standards I wonder where as eBay is based in Luxemburg if I recall and we are no longer part of EU. There are excellent international lawyers who may help based in the city of London at reasonable cost.

You can report a business selling on ebay, but can't see why Trading standards would get involves with ebay itself.
