Retract a bid.

Hi, I have got hold off the Buyer by e-mail, and told him I would like to cancel this bid that I put in because I have the item already. So when you have to fill in the retract bid. I used other block? It tell me to go back to the last page. What should I do you do. THANKS

I take it you mean the seller! That is not one of the reasons eBay allows the bid to be retracted.

There are only a few valid reasons to retract a bid.

If you want to cancel your bid for any other reason the seller may do it for you.

Business sellers must accept your cancellation within limits. Private sellers do not have to accept.

The seller may open an Unpaid Item case against you in the Resolution Centre in order to recover their selling fees.

Bids expire in 48 hours if not accepted in the meantime.

One unpaid case against you will not do you any harm but if you fail to pay again in 12 months your buying activity will be restricted as sellers can block buyers with 2 cases against them in 12 months.

Thanks for getting back to me, I got hold of the seller and told him my problem. He told me he could not cancel my bid I had to do it through ebay. If I cannot have my bid cancelled that ok I will not stop the payment, next time I need to check my stock, have a good day stay safe.
