Ebay really needs to be better policed/organised. So fed up searching for items and scrolling through thousands of items that are either duplicate listings, or items that aren't even related to the search I have entered. Making searching for items a much more laborious task. 😕😠

1.3 billion listing on at any one time, staff all at home because of Covid, it's a laborious and problematic task for them currently too.

I understand that. But it's not a new problem. Has always been this way. Just think there's bound to be a way of preventing multiple listings etc in this day and age. I've tried reporting multiple listings. But it never works. Maybe it's cause I do everything on my phone. Don't have laptop or pc.

I do understand fully the frustration that is why eBay d have a duplciation policy that sellers cannot list duplicate items at the same time to try and avoid this problem if only slightly.

Agree too, many, many aspects of the site can be improved or fixed, ours is not to reason or to wonder why ( not) !!

Obviously the duplicates policy is not working, or being checked then. So what is the point of having it if it is not being checked? I think that ebay infarct don't want to hear any complaints, that's why it's so hard to actually get in touch with an actual person.
