Is there anything I can do?

Just wait to see whether it arrives by the latest estimated delivery date. If it doesn't, or it isn't as described, use eBay's money back guarantee through the resolution centre.

As you don't appear to be familiar with this, it will be worth reading the details: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/money-back-guarantee.html

I don't know why an experienced buyer like yourself agreed to buy the item again at a higher price. You could have left negative feedback when he returned your money (you still can), and reported him to eBay. Sellers are penalised for making seller-initiated cancellations. He obviously hoped to avoid by falsely claiming it was cancelled with your agreement.

awkward seller

I purchased an item on Sunday 8th Nov. & that evening received an email informing me the item had been ndispatched for Tuesday 10th delivery, the next morning I found I had been refunded by Paypal as 'Buyer cancelled the order' which I didn't. I emailed the seller to find out what was going on & he replied that there was a gltch in the system & I had been refunded by accident ? & I would have to purchase the item again which I did but was surprised to find the seller had increased the price. I might add that it wasn't a cheap item & also used some Nectar points to help with the purchase which I now have to wait 7 days for my refund from paypal & Nectar, however I purchased the item again & it was dispatched by the end of the day but without Courier/Tracking details, I have requested this information twice from this seller but refuses to answer my emails to provide me with the information so cannot be sure the item has been posted. Due to the underhand way this transaction has been handled I no longer trust this seller & wonder if I will get my item at all, in foresight I should have used another seller after the first item was cancelled. Is there anything I can do?
