    <description>&lt;P&gt;If our buyer has received a refund twice then it is probably up to them to refund.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As official refunds are made from the original payment it seems virtually impossible to be refunded twice. It would therefore appear that youmade a refund the incorrect way and because of that it was nor seen as a refund and ebay refunded again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;All refunds must be done through a case and initiated by you, then neither ebay or paypal get involved so duplicate payments cannot happen.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>As in title Both pay-pal and eBay have made a refund payment to my buyer! E Bay have admitted it’s there mistake and the matter is supposedly being Dealt with by there “back payments department” This situation has been going on for over a month now, iv had no direct contact from eBay regarding any of this, iv had to make multiple phone calls to them trying to get this matter dealt with, I keep being told that it will be dealt with in 7-10 days and the one payment will be credit back to me but Alas this time passes and Indeed nothing has happened &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt; Has anyone else had this and been down this process with eBay? If so have you any guidance with this as well as the time it should take for me to be refunded as I’m getting absolutely nowhere and being made lots of false promises..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for any help &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":folded_hands:"&gt;🙏&lt;/span&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you made a refund and did it through paypal instead of an ebay dispute then it can be taken twice&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;All refunds should be made through the buyer opening a dispute and you refunding thtough the dispute or ebay do not know the refund was made and if the case escalates then they will refund the money and take it from you.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;All you can do is to keep on at ebay to refund.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How does this appear in your PayPal account?&amp;nbsp; The original payment should show as refunded in full, but what does the other payment say it is to and for?&amp;nbsp; Have you asked Paypal?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes it was done through eBay item returns system so when ebay asked me to issue my buyer a refund I did, this took the 10days to clear through pay pal in the mean time the buyer opened a case against me that it was taking to long! and eBay stepped in and issued a second refund &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt; I phone eBay before both refunds cleared and eBay assured me this would only be one payment not two! So to my astonishment indeed two payments were taken from my PayPal account which as a result has left me with a negative balance on my PayPal &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt;..</description>

      <description>I issued the 1st refund when I was asked to by eBay after the item in question was returned to me as per eBay returns system it was issued though pay pal and taken from my bank account, this process has a up to 10days to clear period within that time my impatient buyer was not prepared to wait and opened a case against me through eBay, eBay took control of the matter within 24 hours issued him with a second refund I phoned eBay about this and they reassured me that this would only result in one payment being taken from me but alas two were taken! the original one through PayPal and the second one through eBay, eBay admits that they are at fault and shouldn’t of taken the second payment my main problem now is false promises be made by eBay in regards to this being refunded back to me..</description>

      <description>Both eBay and pay pal payments as saying the same thing. My buyers name, refunded for item he returned to me and both are the same amount.</description>

      <description>If it took that long to clear then the buyer had the time to escalate and ebay would force a refund&lt;BR /&gt;All yo can do is to keep on at ebay&lt;BR /&gt;If you have to do a refund in future then it is best if you load your paypal so the the buyer gets the money straight away</description>

      <description>Help!!!&lt;BR /&gt;Just going around and around in a vicious circle with this &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt; After yet another phone call to the collects team and being told the matter is with back payments department and I’d have a update by the 9th alas nothing again! no contact from eBay of any kind &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt; there must be away of talking to manager or at least a member of the back payments staff etc? Has anyone please got a phone number or way of contacting someone within ebay that can get this refund mess sorted out, as the people I speak to on the phone/messaging just end up going all through this mess with me again and coming to the same conclusion everytime “iv emailed the back payments department again” you hear something with 48hr to 72hrs!! But nothing time and time again..</description>

      <description>I am sorry but we are just members like yourself and have no direct contact with ebay.&lt;BR /&gt;We just try and help other members with problems&lt;BR /&gt;To contact ebay you have to go to Help and contact then scroll down the page to the bottom and see what options are there.&lt;BR /&gt;I doubt you would get a manager&lt;BR /&gt;All you can do is to keep on at them&lt;BR /&gt;I know how frustrating it is&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
