Getting a refund when seller is no longer on ebay

I bought some Braun toothbrush heads last year from a seller who's not now on eBay. It seems that the heads are faulty but the item number doesn't work. How can I get a refund, plz?

If you bought them last year it's far too late to make any claim through eBay or PayPal.

Unless you can persuade the seller to refund you, or take them to court - which won't be worthwhile - you will just have to write the money off as a loss.
