Strange code number on the customers delivery address

I am a bit new to this and I understand that sometimes there is a strange number on the delivery address if they are collecting from a shop or something but recently another number has been inserted in all the delivery addresses. It always begins with ebay in lower case and then has a set of letters and numbers. I am a bit concerned about it, as it is in an odd place in the address and also I am a bit dyslexic with very long numbers and letter so wouldbt want to copy it wrong if it is essential. It says "The unique eBay code will not be printed as part of the address on the postage label."
