Ebay scam

I had someone send an offer for an item I'm selling which I accepted then they sent me a message asking to email them which I did then they asked me to buy a gift card with the item for them which they would send the money for which totalled over £500 hit they wanted me to do it all through paypal which I didn't do BTW lol, now I looked up the scam online & the name of the person which people have complained about in forums so I know it's a legit scam... I have their address & email here now, what should I do as I don't want anyone getting scammed by this guy as some people might not be as clued up as me & actually do it

The buyer is mad. All payments are made through Paypal and online checkout. Never e-mail or communicate in any way as ebay might ban you!

There is nothing much you can do. Buyer has not paid so without fail after 2 days open a "non payer" case in the resolution centre and close afte 2 days. You get you fees back and he gets a defect if he is still around
