Where do you respond to offers ?

I am getting offers and can see no where to respond to them ?

I go to my ebay \ bids/offers and my listing is not there.

I am getting emails of offers I want to respond to but cannot ?

Where how do you do it ?

there should be a respond to offer link in the offer message if it is a proper offer

cant for life of me even respond to an answer. hell ebay is hard to use.

is it because i have a reserve higher than the offer im given ?

no, it's because you don't have the 'make an offer' option on your listing!

you have received bids so the offer option has been removed and all offers cancelled

you've had three bids already and the listing hasn't been live for very long,

just let the auction run it's course

don't be too quick to take an offer

whats mean i do have thre make an offer on the listing !!! people are making offers !!!!!! iv had 3.

that's right,

you have listed as an auction,

you have received 3 bids,

you don't respond to bids, you just wait for more bids, then when the auction reaches the end of it's time the item sells to the highest bidder as long as the bid has reached the reserve you have set

if the reserve isn't reached you can offer it to the highest bidder at their bid, but they don't have to accept

just checked i have put allow users to make offers ? but on the listing on site there is no option for that ?
why not ?

i dont get it why ? i have offers but i cant respond to them ?

I have already told you,

once a bid is placed the make an offer option is removed and all offers are cancelled

how useless is that ! wow ebay is so hard to use thats why i dont sell on here. Have 3 bikes to sell but simply cannot understand this mad process on here.

Once you have bids, offer disappears.

you have a choice

you can either list as a fixed price with make an offer, - if you choose this option you can accept any offer up until the item sells

or you can list in auction format with make an offer added, if you use this option you can only receive and accept offers until a bid is placed, once a bid is placed you have to let the auction run.

i want to let the auction run. But also want for 100% good car restorer accept their offer.
it is not always about money !

Now i am stuck in an auction (unless i change ) to the other method.
i did this and it sold within 2 minutes to a scammer which i had to stop and re list.
So to stop scammer i had to use the second method.

there is a third option and that is to list it as a classified ad,

if you use the classified option the listing stays live until the buyer actually pays you, then you cancel the listing

As said if you have a bid all offers are cancelled.

If this is not the case,offers come in the form of messages and emails.They say RESPOND to offer, so click that. You then have a choice of ACCEPT, DECLINE , MAKE A COUNTER OFFER.

Not difficult.

If it is the car, then PROPER offers cannot be made as their are bids, and you are required to sell to the highest bidder. You can't accept unofficial offers.
