Why has E Bay become so expensive to sell a car?

Why has E Bay become so expensive to sell a car? I was charged over £70 for a single sale. Thats more than half as much again to sell a car on Autotrader and almost four times as much as Gum Tree. I have used E Bay and gumtree for around seven years and preferred them both to Autotrader. Always seemed better value. It seems that perhaps Autotrader is now becoming better value than E Bay. Also, I may be incorrect. I'm sure E Bay has very recently increased their sellers fees once again and in the middle of the lockdown. I also see that Autotrader has'nt. Infact you can advertise your car on Autotrader and they will keep the advert live for much longer the pandemic. E Bay is now becoming one of the most expensive platforms to advertise a car. Over £70 to sell one car???

you added paid for extras,

it costs £14.99 to advertise and the final value fee is 1% capped at £45

a reserve costs £9.99

adding buy it now costs £5.99

Thanks for the breakdown. However, I already know this. I'm just pointing out that E Bay is getting very expensive. I have always used E bay as my preferred platform for selling. I have always been a fan of the platform they offer to the advertisers and value they offered. In comparison to the likes of Autotrader. It is now much more expensive than Autotrader, it would seem. I would also point out that their filters are not working at the moment. It is impossible to filter out high mileage cars or choose between private and business sellers.
